Angie and I are RVing fulltime in our 2006 Monaco Knight 40PLQ. I work full time as a web programmer, and Ang works full time taking care of me :-). Thanks for reading our stuff.
Today we actually started to become a bit anxious for things to get started at the rally. Its not really the reason you are probably thinking of. It is much more simple than that. In reality, without rally-type stuff going on, we are basically trapped in an asphalt campground with fifteen foot wide spaces (my coach is fourteen feet wide), surrounded by a bunch of campers with name tags around their necks.
Tomorrow is when things officially get started. The vendor areas will be open, we will get two meals a day in a big auditorium, classes and seminars, and free happy hour each day!
The big event today was a beer and hot dog fest around the new coach area. Ang and I munched and sipped for a while, then made our way inside some of the new Monaco coaches that were on display. Seems that the new model year brings some nice paint, cooler electronics, larger LCD TVs, and higher price tags.
I think the greatest thing about walking through the new coaches was the proof it showed Ang and I about what a great decision we made on getting the Knight PLQ. They are not doing that floor plan this year, the price worked out great for us, and our coach rules. Seriously rules.
Even with the periodic issues, we still love our home. It is comfortable, fun, beautiful, and is ours.
