Angie and I are RVing fulltime in our 2006 Monaco Knight 40PLQ. I work full time as a web programmer, and Ang works full time taking care of me :-). Thanks for reading our stuff.
Big hole. Like a month's worth of hole. The good news is that I think I figured out what it means when I don't make an entry: we are having fun ![]()
We have been back in Cali for almost a month now. I have spent most of my efforts here going into Cisco to drum up some more work. Ang got back from Burning Man without incident. We hung out in Morgan Hill for a bit. Went to Sugar Barge RV Park in Bethel Island for a couple of great weeks. Now we are back in Morgan Hill. Thats a lot of movement for a month. Getting ready for more, tho...
Sugar Barge RV Park is one of our all-time favorite RV parks in California. It is a mellow place right on the delta at Frank's Tract. There is a marina with a bar and restaurant just a few steps from the RV park. While we were there, they had live music several nights, which is always a crowd pleaser.
Maybe the coolest part about Sugar Barge is the fact that Mike and Tina live close by in Oakley. We met Tina on a camping trip to Lake Shasta several years ago, and met Mike shortly after that. It was great to see them again, and we got to hang out quite a bit.
One Sunday during our stay, Mike and Tina drove us out to Lost Isle in their rocket ship bass boat. For those that know the Delta, Lost Isle is an infamous landing spot for the party-inclined. There is not much more there than a boat dock and a big bar. Since it is on an island, the only access to it is by boat. This keeps the crowd interesting, to say the least.
We have only been gone from Sugar Barge for a few days, but we already miss Mike and Tina sorely. I am sure it will be waaaaayyyyy too long before we see them again.
So here we are at Coyote Valley RV Resort for another week and a half or so. Our stay here will end with us going to see The Cure in concert with Tom and Jessica! We are very excited about that, as even if the concert is sub-par, we will be spending the evening with Tom and Jess, which is never boring ![]()
Once we have The Cure, we begin our month-long journey to Florida. This is our attempt on being pro-active on missing any cold that may happen out here!
