This Wasn't In The Brochure

In the past two and a half hours, we have driven just under three miles. We are somewhere between the 20 mile bridge and Baton Rouge on I-10. Apparently there was a very bad wreck - and we are still about 20 miles from it. This is going to be a long stretch of highway...

Hi Kev,
I am Louis (grazer) from the iRV2 Monaco Web forum. I am seriously considering purchasing the Holiday Rambler 06 Abassador PLQ. We are getting a huge knock off the listed price(I know the listed price is B/S). Wife and I really like the rear office nook.

The only negative that really concerns me about this coach is that it is an 06 and still on the lot. In other words that a bunch of people have looked at this coach and not purchased and also if this coach did not sell while new from a dealer, how in the hell am I going to be able to sell this unit used?

I am in Mississippi and not a lot of prospective buyers here, vs a dealer in Fl. or other populated states.

Would you mind answering some questions regarding your coach? This will be our 1st motor home. We presently have a 5th wheel 27' Holiday Rambler 05 Savoy.
1. Since it appears that you all travel quite a bit and experince mountains, do you feel the 330 cummins is enough motor for this coach? We live in the south/southeast and do not have mountains but rather more flat lands.
2. How well do you feel that your coach has held up? What wear/tear do you see or have occured?
3. Is it true that Monaco/Holiday Rambler stand behind their product and are really helpful when problems do arrise?
4. This unit has only the very small round headlights. Not the full normal headlights that you see on most motor homes. Are these headlights adequate?
I would truely appreciate a reply when you have a chance. You can email me, but please put in your subject line what/who you are. I get a ton of emails/spam, non-recognized emails easy to delet.

Thanks,
Louis
