Klamath Falls

Ah... Klamath Falls known as the City of Sunshine, just the name congers up thoughts of adolescent group camping trips, snipe hunts, dorm raids and summer love...

[More:]

We are leaving the 78th Annual FMCA rally and we are on our way to the Klamath Falls KOA when I hear KOA it reminds me of when I was young our family drove into a KOA so excited to be there and my sister Kelley and I looked out the window at the pool and it was empty...me and my sisters hearts fell... but Im sure this experience will be different, back then I was not staying in a new and beautiful Class A motorhome.

This weekend we plan on going to Crater Lake, the deepest and bluest lake in the nation!

Remember to "Save Crater Lake" while you're there. I just remember seeing that on a bunch of bumper stickers in the 80's. Sounds like it's still there! Another successful bumper sticker campaign... remember “Keep on Truckin”? Well, I don't have to remind you that there are still tons of trucks out there. Bumper stickers are the way to go.

I hope the pool is full. If so, it will be full of screaming, peeing children like every other KOA. Have fun
