OK...
So I looked at removing my radiator myself very closely. I have determined that it involves more than $400 worth of total hassle, busted knuckles and swearing. I have made an appointment for next Thursday the 8th for the radiator work.
The air conditioner heat exchanger is the same size as the radiator and blocks the entire radiator. Since the engine AC does not work, I am considering having the heat exchanger removed. I could put my trailer AC unit on the roof above the drivers area and run my Onan when it's really hot on the road. I'm sure the removal of this blockage would get me 10-15 degrees cooler.
I'll spend the mean time with a tune-up,putting in a new fixture in the shower, etc. I found a broken wire between my battery isolator and my house battery so I may have found my 12V problem. I'll hook it up and see.
I'll do the stuff like valve cover gaskets, carb, electrical, tune-up etc.
Still need to build the queen sized bed in the back, paint or wall paper the walls and ceiling, find captains chairs, etc.
More after this weekends shenanigans
On another note: I found an identical unit to mine on Craigslist,. It is in great condition inside but needs a new motor. He wants $2000 so I still think I got a good deal. I can fix interior stuff etc myself. Good pics of his rig on his site:
